InterCity flexipass gives you all the freedom of New Zealand's largest bus network InterCity Coachlines, with over 100 daily services, to more than 700 towns, cities & communities nationwide!
InterCity operates New Zealand's most popular national bus network with a million kiwi's travelling with them each year and it's also great way to meet other independent travellers just like you.
Flexibility
With InterCity Flexipass you have the flexibility to hop-on and hop-off anywhere within the bus network and you can make changes your travel plans up to 2 hours before departure without incurring penalties. Unlike the fixed routes of the backpacker bus companies you are in control and there are no fixed itineraries or compulsory overnight stops.
Transferability
InterCity flexipass is valid for 12 months from the date of activation. You can also on sell it to someone else at the end of your travels if you a few unused hours left. InterCity's facebook page is often a good place to find passes being sold.
Manage your travel online
You can manage all your New Zealand bus pass online and top up the pass anytime with additional hours if required. Plus, InterCity operates a national contact centre so there is always someone available to help you if your require advice or assistance creating an itinerary or making booking. As New Zealand's largest bus network, InterCity® also has a wide network of retail agents across the country including all good hostels and information centres.

TRAVELPASS - Fixed itinerary transport pass

TRAVELPASS brings together an extensive range of “hop on and off” fixed itinerary passes, based on the most popular touring routes throughout New Zealand, so you can explore New Zealand like a local.
Using the national network of InterCity Coachlines, TRAVELPASS gives you more departures than anyone else, more freedom to explore, and gets you closer to the “real” New Zealand. Passes are valid for 12 months and start from just $40
Passes include coach travel on the InterCity network but some of them also include day tours and scenic cruises with GreatSights New Zealand, AwesomeNZ and Southern Discoveries Cruises in Milford Sound and ferry crossings with Interislander.
